We loved trying out a new area in London where we have never stayed before. Our son loves buses and trains so we appreciated the great public transport. It's perfect to put your child to bed and have a comfortable evening either cooking or a take away knowing they are safely asleep in a room next door. Excellent location for shops and amenities with central London and all it's excitement only 20 minutes away. Loved the views and walks along the docks. Kitchen was well stocked and apartment very tasteful. Wish it was ours!

Very disappointed with the quality of the beds. Probably the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on with nasty rubber sheets that made you sweat, "balled", worn sheets/duvet and springs digging into you as you tried to get comfy. The curtains in the bedrooms were pointless. Very thin and let all the light in. The second bedroom curtains were especially bad being marked, dirty and falling off the rails. The flat was extremely hot and unfortunately when you opened the windows it was very loud with drinkers leaving the pub and shouting but it was the week end! There was very little space for clothes/suitcases and our belongings as cupboards all full with sheets/cots/spare beds etc. Very early check out time of 10 am a bit tight to keep to.

We (family with 2 children 11 and 13) stayed in Dockside apartment from 24 to 30 april 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. Flat is comfortable, large and fully equipped. Description suits well what you'll find and, with a travelcard, you can easily reach London centre in 30 minutes via dlr, Tube and/or buses. Price is not really cheap (at least comparing to italy) even if aligned with London prices, but accomodation is really nice and we think more usable than staying in a hotel.

Nothing really serious, but we think that (considering the fare) a bit more attention in small things would help guest to feell even better, for instance: 1. there was actualli a wi-fi connection, but without internet access (a couple of dongle-keys were there in substitution, but unfortunately they were only for windows pc...) 2. wardrobe and cupboard were full of spare things (like sheets, blankets, pillows, mattresses, beds etc. that we were instructed not to remove), so we had only a litlle space for our stuff 3. the shower drain was clogged and no soaps nor shampoos were available. We told the assistance desk but, although very kind, probably did not have time to fix things before our departure. Anyhow, as said, we really enjoyed our stay and probably would come back in same flat in case of a future London visit.
